Everyone will make fun of AKG headphones for being made of cheap plastic until they put on large planar headphones made of metal and want to go back to the AKG which just float on your head.

That was my experience with the R70x. First impression: Very light, feels cheap. Later: I don't even need to wear it, it just floats by itself!

Yeah, well, a tiny dynamic driver in a mostly hollow, plastic chassis with a little bit of sponge inside will tend to be lighter, yes.

I'd say, though, that any headphone can be comfortable, if the headband is doing its job correctly.
