worth checking out current market leading iems too. the airpods are not very impressive compared to contemporary $20 iem options, which you might find hard to believe.

I would but I just have such little interest. I only use them out and about and I need the quality of life features (transparency mode, noise canceling). If I’m at home I’m in front of my stereo. Just simply stating how impressive second gen AirPod Pros are compared to high end IEMs from 10 years ago or even recent IEMs I’ve heard like the Fiio FD7. Not really my realm anymore.
