Because the dams have started releasing the water they were holding back for agriculture use. Farmers don't need so much water and there have been fall rain storms that have made up for some of the drought.
River still looks low though. But at least it is flowing some.

It's all Canada's fault. They hold the water till it becomes a problem then send it down to the next city. By the time it gets to Minnesota it's a biblical flood. Every time.
Then they hit us with the "oh sorry about that there biblical flood eh"

You do realize that the Mississippi River starts in Minnesota, right? It isn’t fed by any Canadian rivers.

This was from a few weeks ago.
Based on what I what I saw last week at the Arch it has really gone up. Some of the rivers that feed into it have it have.
