Good to hear he was ok I guess we all remember that one popular person who died off a stingray, so I wasn't sure..

That one popular person (PBUH) ultimately died not from the venom but from blood loss and shock. The barb hit him right in an artery iirc. He basically got stabbed with a knife. Some of the biggest stingrays can have barbs up to ten inches or more
