I want to get into souls like games. What game do I start with? Preferably something less than 80$ cad so I can’t start with elden ring or sekiro

Assuming you haven’t played it, Dark Souls 1 is a pretty good introduction. Great level design. (Best in the series imo) Easy learning curve, and still holds up as a solid game. Mechanics might be considered a bit clunky by today’s standards.
People love Bloodborne but its a lot more fast paced than the Souls series and not what I would recommend as in introductory game.
Nioh is also a decent game for introduction.
Have not played it myself but have a friend who vouches for Code Vein

You could just start with Dark Souls 1 or 3 and go from there. Although there are other souls-likes that aren't made by From Soft, like Nioh 1 & 2, Steel Rising, Code Vein, Mortal Shell and The Surge 1 & 2.
There's also Jedi: Fallen Order, which is kind of an easier take on Souls games. I think it's on sale on Steam.

Dark Souls Remastered is like, the base game that i would recommend starting with. Following that go to Dark Souls 3, and if you want something a bit faster just see how Bloodborne feels. The atmosphere is great in BB.

DS3 seems like the best bet. It's more polished than DS1/2

you're misunderstanding the term "soulslike", that refers to games that follow similar mechanics to FromSoftware games...
my choice for a new player is always Bloodborne
for a "soulslike" the only one I enjoyed was Nioh, the second one to be exact but the first wasn't bad

I’d say Dark Souls 3 is a good middle ground for all the games.
If you’re on PS5 you can download Bloodborne for free with a ps plus subscription. That’s also a decent one to start with.
Or you could just wait for Elden Ring to go on sale and pick that up.

Why do you want a souls-like? So you can have a massive soy-boy ego boost when you spend 100+ hours to beat it and then claim you're better than the average person because you did? How about you:
A.) Work for a living like everyone else so you can actually afford to play video games.
B.) Play a game that actually takes skill so you actually have a reason to have an ego when you "git gud". Examples being NBA 2k and R6.

If you have a PS4/5 then get Bloodborne.
