I have no played it, but im downloading it now to see how it is. Has anyone played it yet? Is it still trash? Has the game been fixed with updates?

It's all personal opinions, I myself have enjoyed it since launch so that's why I think it boils down to personal opinion. However!!! All the updates that have came out made it a lot better, I think you will enjoy it.

I didnt think it was the worst when I did play it, I honestly thought the map design was the biggest contributor to its failure. Maps were too large without any cover. I know they've gone back and redesigned a lot of the maps now so maybe my biggest problem has been fixed

Personally, especially when it comes to shooters like Battlefield and CoD which have a life cycle practically set to end by the release of the next game, nothing could really bring me back to 2042. I used to love Battlefield, but hopefully they know 2042 will never be what it could have been and are working towards fixing it up enough to buy some good faith so they can release the next Battlefield game in an appropiate state at launch.

It made me lose interest. If the game launched with classes, fine. But to completely change this now and taken customization away from the player, that's unforgivable

I would probably play if EA gave it out for free but I have no desire to pay money for 2042. I will pursue playing 2142 before I do that. It's a much better game.
