This PC build or Keep my PS5 setup?

I’ve been thinking about moving over to PC again as I need a Laptop/Desktop, and I have spec this build up https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/mmZfzf

My question is would you recommend keeping the PS5 + getting this laptop https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/195260682380?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=W41dZevUSGe&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=HYoeborpQnW&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

I will upgrade the laptop with another 8GB RAM, as 4 just isn’t enough.

Would it just be easier to swap over to PC entirely, I feel like I’m going to miss out on exclusives if I get rid of my PS5 I’m so unsure on what route to take, please help!

Note I already have a Case and Fans from a previous build so that’s a bonus

I recommend keeping the PS5, you will not be able to play anything released after 2010 on your PC.

I'd suggest going pc build. Most playstation exclusives have been wandering over to PC. If you can wait to play say "Horizon: Third Titles Are Hard", go PC. I recently did, and I was hard-core playstation since PS3.

You haven't got a GFX card selected in your PC build, and that laptop is just poop for gaming.

Depends on task at hand. Had Asus vivabook with Ryzen 5600h and it was fast enough for everything except gaming well you could still play indie games and light games no problem.

Value wise PS5 will last you good 5 years. Keep it just get a laptop with i5 or Ryzen 5 that supports NVME and 16GB DDR4. 2x8.

Don’t mix different speed and size RAM sticks. Keep it dual channel ideally 2x8 3200Mhz if laptop supports it.

Stick with the PS5 and get a laptop, I'd only really recommend a desktop PC if you really want to play mouse and keyboard games.

Get the PC but don't get a 3060 either get a 6600xt for cheaper because it's also faster or get a 3060ti because it's like absurdly faster for the price difference. Here's a full build if you like.

I feel the combination of PS5 + laptop is better than just having one desktop machine. More flexibility, less worrying about specs and what you can/can’t play. Portability.

The PS5 that you already have (you’ll lose money when you sell it) will remain current for at least another five years where you can play the newest games at the same settings as every other PS5 owner, with games optimized for this specific hardware. Plus probably another 2-3 years where it gets first party games.

I’ve never been happy with my gaming PC after three years and always felt compelled to upgrade it further. This may be different for you, but for me I’ve found that separating gaming and non-gaming computer tasks (work) has been working better for me. I also prefer not being so dependent on Windows and being able to switch back to Linux or even consider a Mac down the road.

If you're going to spend any money on getting into pc gaming don't go for a laptop. Go all in and get a gaming pc(Desktop). Be sure to do research and get something that'll last you many years before you have to upgrade.

UPDATE - Kept the PS5 and purchased the Laptop, I bumped into GeForce Now and I have gigabit Internet so I’ve got the best of both worlds for the time being :)
