It doesn't matter. Everyone stopped buying any EA games a long time ago, right?

In this case it’s really on those people that spend money on a mobile game.

people asking for refunds for money spent on entertainment products be like: "i went to a restaurant one time and paid for a meal, the restaurant changed its menu and stopped doing burgers, i should be allowed a refund!"

its free, you paid for the mtx for a period of entertainment for a period of time for a product you dont even own... when will people get this!

im not condoning it but ffs people, you had your fun and paid for that time, no?

I don't like apex neither EA (except for grid legends) but really a company that makes billions of dollars every year can't keep a server and mobile support for a game bevsuse it doesn't get the revenue they expect. Like really it's not about gaming, they don't care about their product neither about their player base, it is just profit for profit.

If the gaming industry some day depends on EA money to keep existing it would be game over, they have no passion and they don't care about anything except the profit.

I understand that people think it’s stupid to spend money on a mobile game but some people don’t have PCs or playstation to play Apex on. I personally never played any mobile games like this and I enjoyed it enough to spend some money on it, i treated myself to a small gift for christmas on a game that i really enjoyed and i worked on to become better at. It’s truly just a slap in the face to see the effort put into something being for nothing :(

I could be mistaken here but I think the problem might be this:

>In EA’s earnings call, CEO Andrew Wilson said that EA and the development partner chose to sunset this “version” of the game and that the company has “plans to reimagine a connected Apex mobile experience in the future.”

Basically "this version isn't working out so we're starting over and if you supported us up until this point tough luck".

I also assume this different version doesn't transfer into the main game on any other platform.

I can understand people being a little annoyed by this.
