This is lovely to see, as someone who hangs out in both gaming and stopgaming subreddits, this kind of thing is wholesome and awesome :) Never played destiny 2 but your friends look like a great bunch of people. Thanks for posting this

Hope you guys made some dope memories! Some of my best friends right now were online friends. We all happened to live in the same state tho so we meet up every couple of months.

I did this a few years back for meeting my Teamspeak friends, mostly LoL players. Best friends I’ve every had and going 8 years strong

What sucks is that this is too many people for a dungeon, but not enough for a Raid.

Oof currently getting back into Destiny, just realized why I left in the first place: no respawn missions are very hard to beat solo and this game isn't fun without friends 😩

I have friends. I've tried gaming with them. They don't appreciate my tendency to put down the controller about twenty times an hour to Google something, get a snack, grab a beer, take a piss, check reddit, let my dog outside, or pick a new podcast episode.

They say I slow them down. I say they slow me down, I'm doing six things at once over here.

That's cool. One of my kids turned 18 last summer and flew out of state to meet online friends. Best experience ever. They're doing another trip this summer.

i love to see IRL things come out of gaming. i cant remember the post but that one where the dudes gaming buddy is his best man was just heartwarming
