I expect it to be a standard Bethesda game, set with the standard bugs and jank, except in space.

See it doesn't need to be a standard Bethesda game. I hope it's more than that. I hope the devs took risk and did alot of unique things on some of the planets. I hope it's the space game I wanted No Man's Sky to be

Oh I agree with you 100%, I want the game to be amazing and well worth the time and money. It looks very promising, I just know Bethesda so it's hard to set high expectations.

Yea man I'm hoping it's Good but there's some things that worry me. The main thing is Procedural Generation. I know they've gone in and hand crafted some things but they said alot of the planets are procedurally generated. I'm sure there's gonna be alot of issues that come with that. I remember No Man's Sky suffering hard from 16 quintillion procedurally generated planets. There was bugs everywhere and also alot of repetitiveness

Starbound shares the exact same problem. When you have quintillions of procedurally generated environments it's inevitable that a lot of them will feel pretty much exactly the same
