I’ve been playing bayonetta 1

I got it on sale on steam after my ps4 died, rip, and haven’t got around to playing again until now.

Realized that I don’t just suck because I’m out of practice. It’s because I don’t have all the upgrades. Totally forgot about it.

My dumb ass trying to catch a crow without the beast within.

What are some games you can only 100% after playing through a few times?

(Storyline arcs don’t count)

I also offer up crash bandicoot

Star Ocean The Second Story. There are 86 different endings and hundreds of sound bytes to unlock, and depending on who you pick to join your party/team the game locks the other choice until the next play through (there are like 5 pairs where you can only select one, and some are tethered together). This was also a 2 disk PS1 era JRPG so each play through was around 30 hours if you didn’t explore everything including special events and relationship paths between Each character (which also is required to unlock certain sound bytes) and every town/city. Let’s not get started on the crafting system. Modern games don’t have shit on that behemoth as far completionist itch goes lol.

The Stanley Parable.
Also, you need to not-play it for a number of years for a specific achievement.

Final fantasy X-2 you can not get the 100% perfect ending without playing twice.

Midway through the game you must pick between two warring factions. Whichever you pick has their own side and story missions. You can only get access to the missions of the faction you picked so to get 100% you must play through once with one faction and then again with the other. And boy is that perfect ending worth it.
