It's a game that feels like it could have been an amazing game, but just didn't go all the way. It has too many major flaws. The good thing is that they could easily resolve some of them with a couple of patches.

It doesn't commit enough to being a horror game. The story is okayish, but characters and especially the side missions seem like a last minute addition.

The RPG systems such as gear and levels seem entirely meaningless and only introduce grind to the game. Having to collect resources is okay, but the amount you need to collect makes it tedious.

It is especially tedious because 60% of the interactions ingame require you to hold F for a second. Another 20% are struggle sessions where you have to repeatedly tap F. It is not only meaningless, but can become annoying really fast. It is by far the dumbest design decision of the entire game.

Yet the parkour and combat and the world itself are all really good, especially the parkour. It honestly despite all its flaws is fun to play. Once you do get into a flow of a night time chase or a time trial, the game really shines and it's something I feel like the game could have explored more.

I recommend waiting for Techland to polish the game a bit more and maybe buy it during a future discount.
