That’s not the point. The definition of the award is for games that are post 1.0 and have received ongoing love/development, many years later. It’s not about if a game is quality or not.

I agree that awards should go to full releases, but I think there is a lot of Garbo that goes derelict after release, and so people's impulse to just nominate something they know devs have a heart for is understandable.
