Far cry 3 is the only good far cry that I have played.

For me, its Far Cry 3 as its been the only game in the series that I've enjoyed from start to finish. Far Cry 5 was close but I didn't like the ending.

With that being said, I can't seem to get through another playthrough of it. (Mainly due to open world fatigue.)
