Because you want it and are just looking to Reddit comments for validation.
1TB Storage is fast you will notice near instant loading screens. Most games run at 60fps and all major online games at 120fps. Standard S/X controller has lower input lag latency even faster then Elite 2.
As in apps, internet or movies. I just play gta and occasional games that come out which my Xbox one does all that. What is the upgrade?
Thank you for an actual response!

I'm upgrading after the holiday. The tipping point for me was that gamepass games are slowly excluding Xbox One access unless they can be played via cloud gaming. It's already happening. Some newer games dont work on the Xbox one. The One served me well. Got it day one and it's still chugging along. Got my monies worth for sure.
Worth upgrading just for the loading times IMO. I play alot of 360 games and there's hardly any time waiting for levels to load etc
I'm curious on this. Currently looking to get a PS5 next year, as I haven’t owned a Sony console since PS2 and have various last-gen exclusives I'd like to try out. As it is, I don't see enough from either Microsoft or Sony to justify upgrading from their previous respective consoles.
been there lol 😂
You don't have to if you don't want to.
Well the Xbox One is a turd, so that's reason number one.
Hello. I can give you an answer…
I have a Series S and a Series X in our house.
Hands down, the single greatest upgrade that these consoles will give you for every game is improved load times. Between the processing power and the new hard drive tech, load times are significantly diminished. No joke. I implore you to look up a video on YouTube about it, because you have to see it to believe it.
There are some games that have frame rate improvements. Some games with resolution improvements. Older games. For example, Fallout 3 (2008-ish, Xbox 360) runs in 4K 60fps on a Series X.
It is a significant upgrade. You could probably live soundly with a Series X for twenty years.
Because the Xbox one is booty butt cheeks and the series x is a whole lot better with quick resume to resume your games quicker, faster loading, and because of the one x all games that ran at a dynamic res will now run at or closer to 4K with 60fps without the game needing a patch
not sure if you work for Microsoft or Sony 🤔
either way, it’s a clever market research technique 👍
Dude I was simply asking why I should get a newer system. How does that sound like a marketing technique at all. If you look at some comments explaining exactly what I was looking for.
never thought of that
Thank you best answer yet. Exactly what I was looking for. No responses that have no value to the topic
