I've heard the exact opposite from a lot of people. That this one is awful compared to the first. There's TONS of performance issues I know people are having too

I played on Series S, and had virtually no issues. When I say occasional drops in frames, I mean I know it happened, but I can't point to any specific incidents.

Opinion on how the story was is obviously very subjective, but I thought it was at least as good, or better than the first.

It is very demanding specs-wise. I got around 45 FPS on full low on 1660 super but that's understandable. But I will say it did not disappoint in any other way.

Well that's good. I loved the first one, but so much pushback has made me shy to get it. I'm happy you liked it. The ending has been spoiled for me, so I just wanted to ask you if it was as fuckin bleak as they made it sound?

Yeah it’s pretty underwhelming. Really liked the first and was pretty psyched for the sequel. Definitely let down a bit. It is a straight copy paste of the first. Same exact game. With Minute differences. And my god the characters are whispering THE WHOLE DAMM GAME. Even when they aren’t being hunted. It’s maddening.

Story is better, gameplay is better, and the graphics are better. Granted the game takes a powerhouse of a pc to play at medium to high settings

I couldn’t get through the first one. Couldn’t deal with Hugo crying throughout the entire game. It really set my autism off.

  • Pc performance is quite terrible.
  • Girl and kid crying and sobbing 24/7 gets annoying really fast.
