Honestly I'm not even that good, you just gotta get creative with it and the tools you use. I used a walmart carving kit, a picture from Doom 2016 off Google, and some kitchen knives. I totally bet you could do it! Original Doom for SNES was the first ever game I played so it holds a special place in my heart.

Thank you! That means alot! It's actually the first pumpkin I've carved in around 10 years. I'm a year into recovery, and I'm getting back into the little things that make life great and enjoyable, so I'm doing all the seasonal crafts this year with my Fiancée.

It's not as hard as you think, we used to get these books of patterns when I was a kid. You just pin a piece of paper to it and trace the lines by poking them, I had patterns that were specifically for pumpkin carving but you could do it with your own picture too.
