I'm sorry in advance if this isn't helpful, but I had a similar issue on PC and what fixed it was turning off ray tracing, which was set to on by default. While I do have a PS5, I didn't get the remake for PS5, so I don't know what graphics settings you have, but perhaps tweaking them might improve your situation. Idk. Best of luck regardless.

Perhaps it's a glitch from the game that developers are trying to solve, releasing patch updates.

Yup tried both. Same issue. There's clearly something wrong with this game because all of my games run smoothly on the console. It's just RE4 giving me crap.
