i never played need for speed I just explored the city listening to the radio lol
Riders Republic is a decent enough bike racing game, has other extreme sports too like snowboarding & wing suits, etc
i really need to have a play of that one
Horizon: Mexico has been a ton of fun
Burnout Paradise
Lego 2K Drive is an upcoming game that looks great
Wreckfest
Trackmania!
Any need for speed. Burnout paradise is a good one. Horizon 3 or 4. The Crew. Riders Republic has a good mesh of bikes and other vehicles
Forza Horizon 5. Or any of them really but 5 is the best in my opinion.
I loved Lego Racers back in the day, lego racers 2 isn't nearly as good unfortunetely.
Moto Racer 2! Timeless classic.
Asseto Corsa Competition
Yes trackmania nations forever is the best way to start on the franchise and its 100% free on steam like you can get everything.
assetto corsa (not competizone) with mods is way better than competizone
Have to disagree on the best to start with part, the newest game is also free on steam (starter access). However in my opinion the newest game teaches you more, because of all the new things that have been added.
Road Rash series
I like Dirt Rally 2.0 the most. The challenge is to just stay in the road which makes the game feel unforgiving
ps2 emulator . Downhill Domination. Best game ever made.
best dirt bike game: MX bikes
I'd love to play trackmania but i wasn't able to access the creator content because of subscription fees
I think I'm thinking of the wrong game though
I'm not sure if it's trackmania I'm thinking of but I remember one of them the one I got on epic blocked custom maps on subscription fees
I wish we could make custom maps for those games
How dose wreckfest work
What mods would you suggest
It has a full campaign aswell as multiplayer
Campain features various racing, derby and special events
Multiplayer wise you can either do racing or demolition derbies
It's essentially old school stock car racing with some twists
It's simmilair to games like Dirt Showdown, Flatout, Eve of Destruction, etc
In terms of vehicles none of them are licensed ofcourse but most of the cars are styled after 1960s-1990s cars. There's also a couple pickup trucks, Vans/SUVs and specialty/fun vehicles like a lawn mower
The vehicles are also customizable including performance upgrades, armor and visual upgrades aswell as paint/decals. You can also tune your vehicles suspension, gear ratio, differential, and brake balance
So I assume you can vs against other players as well
Yes although idk if you can do 1V1 I haven't played much multiplayer
If you're interested I'd checkout r/wreckfest
It's definitely one of my favorite modern racing games
Sucks there's not alot of games that feature bikes anymore and most the older ones don't have servers anymore like Motorstorm
Supposedly the MXGP games are really good if you like dirtbike racing but I haven't tried them
otherwise any other car racing games youd suggest?
I can't really think of any outside whats already been reccomended
Hotwheels Unleashed is pretty badass and features a decent campaign and multiplayer racing aswell as split screen
Dose it have custom maps as well?
Sorta
It has a full blown track builder
You can also use community made tracks but only for Time Attacks sadly
Hopefully they release an update later to allow racing with custom tracks
That sounds cool though
I might have to look at the racing games where I can vs people as well
>Trackmania
trying this one first as well the other free one has a lot of mixed reviews so might do this one first
the thing about assetto corsa is that it's unplayable without a wheel/controller, the main way to get mods is content manager. I would recommend downloading the shutoko revival project mod and then playing on their servers
wait for the ultimate edition to go on discount on steam and then buy it, a lot of mods rely on dlcs
i kinda prefer racing games with controller tbh lol not sure how most play it on keyboard if they do
is xbox controller fine?
yeah you could use a controller script and be ok, it's just not as immersive as a wheel
Nah you're thinking of the right game, the campaign matchmaking and a bunch of other things are free and to play everything its just 10€ per year. Which is completely fine considering they keep updating the game
I see, I will add the line saying everything free is a bit of stretch for there steam page lol.
Also I'm struggling to even play it because of a white screen and other issues.
I'll have to figure that out
If you're going for the newest one I recommend getting it on ubisoft connect since it will need that anyway and you wont need steam with it. But in terms of online play and performance, Nations Forever is the better option.
I'm also getting white screen with forever nation's
Im gonna send you a link for the fix in PM, since i dont know how reddit links work and if its allowed on this sub
