UPDATE: We finally got it figured out. Thanks to all those who tried to help. What happened was he bought the season 2 pass, but the game had already moved on to season 3, so season 2 wouldn't work anymore (which is never heard of? So we bought him season 3 and it gave him the rewards from season 2.

TLDR:Minecraft sucks and it's a money sucking game.

My son bought Minecraft Dungeons deluxe on disc a while back. He lost it, so he saved up his money to buy the base game without the DLCs, also on disk. Today he tried to purchase one of the DLCs, but I can't find it anywhere on the playstation to install it. I tried going to the playstation store, but it registers as already being owned and therefore won't let me repurchase it. I have already tried to restore licenses, update the game to latest and restart the playstation. To clarify, I can't find the DLC AT ALL to try downloading it. Any suggestions?

I searched Minecraft Dungeons on the app and clicked add ons, there I can see all the DLCs. However I have never owned the game so cannot guarantee it’ll be exactly the same. Maybe worth a try?

Yes, it shows up in the playstation store but has already been purchased so it won't let me do anything from there. Thanks for checking though

If it is already purchased can you not just download it?

Probably, if I could find it. It doesn't show up in the library or the purchased section. Usually when I do a DLC for a digital game, it auto installs. This one didn't, probably because the base game is a disc.

Is there no interface in the game itself to facilitate downloading the DLC?
