Imma be honest with you. I would go for something like the Quest 2 as its more flexible IMO. It being able to be a standalone headset is super fucking nice and handy, then worst case if you already have a computer you can use it in conjunction with your computer for more games, better framerates, etc
If you want to try xbox and Gamepass an S is a good second option
XSX for the value.
Psvr2 for a true next gen expierence
You gave the best answer and not sure why it was -1.
If these games that have a 2023 release date are good:
Wo Long
Minecraft Legends
Redfall
Flintlock
Lies of P
Eiyuden Chronciles
Hollowknight Silksong
Replaced
Starfield
Forza Motorsports
Stalker 2
ravenlock
I get them with gamepass and if I playing these games I am less likely to buy a $60/$70 game.
Think the smart thing may be is get gamepass and cancel PS+. Sony doesn't have any online exclusives that I need to worry about.
VR is a novelty that will go the way of 3D TV's.
Not this time.
At this price, it surely will
Series X.
I don’t care about racing games and the lack of diversity of games is just killing for VR.
I’m not missing out anything.
It depends on whether or not you care about any Xbox exclusive titles. If you like Bethesda games, you're probably going to want Starfield. There's also Forza and Redfall and others I can't recall. Or maybe you just want a better controller ;). But seriously if none of the exclusive content matters to you then just level up your PS5. That is the only reason to have both really.
Nope, todays VR market is nothing like it was before, I don’t have VR yet but it’s very clear it’s here to stay now, you can get VR headsets for a few hundred, that’s an easy enough entry price for many millions of people, the real difficulty is picking one out of the number of choices available, at least on PC.
I don’t like 3D movies, that is a gimmick with current technology, VR isn’t now, it just didn’t have the technology 20 years or more ago, now it does and is only getting better. VR and normal gaming will live side by side from now on, VR might not be as popular but it will always be here now and only get more mainstream as time goes on.
Game companies won't invest heavily in VR unless it's mainstream and that won't happen unless there are system sellers like HLA every year. Even the current lineup of PSVR2 is nothing to write home about.
VR is stuck in the chicken and egg problem. Sure it can limp around in the shadow of mainstream consoles and PC but that's about it.
I’d get a Series X
I have no interest in VR, as it makes me dizzy and anxious, so I would get an Xbox, if I hadn't already.
Series X is way better. Go with a quest for VR, it's better as well.
You deserve the downvotes
Stay mad, I guess
Stay ignorant, I guess.
I love my 3d tv

PC. Xbox doesn't have a lot of exclusives, and the ones it does have are on PC. Plus, PC can still access game pass. And PC has way more exclusives. I threw my living room PC together for $400 and it plays anything I could want it to.
A Valve steam deck would be a good choice too
