I have a Xbox 360 and ps3 just gathering dust, where even if someone was interested, i probably couldn’t sell them due to some issues.

The disk tray doesn’t close and the controller has a fit out on the ps3, and my parents have lost a load of my stuff including the controller for my 360.

I feel weird just putting them in the bin when they do work, they’re just not in immaculate condition.

Just list them as is on ebay. People will buy and restore, you just won't get much in return. But it keeps them out of the landfill and being loved.

Give them to your local kids hospital. I used to work in one and the kids wards were crying out for old consoles.

Still donate it. They may have a controller from a broken console. You'll be amazed what hospitals horde in storage.

(The top floor of the cardiac hospital in Bristol is stuffed full of broken beds and equipment).

You could also look into local e-waste recycling if anything is non-functional or completely broken. They would break it down for parts and recycle what they can. But definitely see if any hospitals or other local charity providers could use them first.
