Does it fit the hand better than a standard joycon? I'm just looking for something portable that's a better fit for my XXL hands. I tried the Hori Split Pad Pro and it was...okay until one side refused to pair.

My Wavebird and GC are in temp controlled storage 900 miles away. Great console, great memories.

Don’t know if you’ve tried a Satisfye grip, the switch just slides in and makes for a much more comfortable portable grip and doesn’t need you do have any other controllers than regular joycons

Thanks a bunch stranger. I went ahead and ordered one just now, going to see how it works out. My Joycons don't have any drift yet as they're relatively new.

I almost never use my Switch docked (except for Mario Cart with my kids) and it basically lives in my duty bag. The next best thing I've found so far is a plastic piece that clips onto the Pro Controller and holds the screen above it.

Nice they also have some cases that hold the switch with the grip for travel. Been really happy with mine so far. I also picked up a portable dock and it lives in the grip now docked or handheld mode.

I tried a pro grip setup but found the weight distribution a bit uncomfortable on a longer session, was nice for heat distribution though.
