OnePlus 6t user here, moved to lineage OS once I stopped getting version upgrades.

I'm still using my 6T, and it's been flawless so far.

After 4 yrs of heavy use the battery is shit, the rest is bomb

My battery is sitting at 68% original capacity last I checked. But the quick charge helps boost it along throughout the day.
There are features I wish I had like dual speaker stereo sound, or wireless charging. But I agree, pretty much everything on this phone is still bomb. Can't complain to much. I got it on sale with a discount for $280 back in the day. I'm in no rush to upgrade

how did you check the battery compared to original capacity??
intoxicated_potato t1_j1tcouj wrote
There's an app called AccuBattery by Digibites. Charging my phone from below 15% to 100% a few times gave it enough data to determine my battery capacity is around 68% of the original design

Can you pay via NFC out of the box or do you need to apply some odd workarounds?

Google Wallet worked out of the box for me.
Completely missed that you were asking about LineageOS. Ignore me.

Keep forgetting to set that up lol. Could on my old nexus 6 after rooting and with some magisk modules.
[deleted] t1_j1x0q74 wrote
That's the issue, rooting and magisk is no solution.
Aaronspark777 t1_j1x0yic wrote
Yeah, unfortunately the issue is with Google not allowing this.
