Fuck Fitbit. If you're device is stolen they'll just let the thief register and use it and provide you no help at all.

A lot of companies just flag a device as stolen in the system (with a police report) but take no action, but the record is there if the police submit a data request.

As far as trying to scrape money from a used sale, that sounds like extra work for almost no money.
