Yet another concept device of a screen that can increase and decrease in size, much like a foldable phone, but without a crease in the screen. It makes me wonder why companies like samsung are leaning so hard into the clamshell design of their phones instead of embracing this seemingly better option.

Actually think this could be useful. Though I wonder if this is going to be a laptop that will require lots of repairs with the moving mechanism.

Thickness if I'm not mistaken, rolling it up would make it not fit in the tiny back pocket of girls already rediculously tight pants for example.

Girls pants deserve large pockets. That's all I can really say, especially because foldables are inherently thicker than the traditional smartphones and Samsung still makes them.
