Oh I know… the whole brewing process probably uses more water

Not to mention the alcohol in beer means it isn’t that useful for hydration

It takes 24oz of water to make 12oz of beer.

I used to do homebrew. I used a lot of water when sanitizing. Probably more than quadruple the amount of beer made.
