I consider this funny but sad at the same time for all the taxpayers in Wilbraham, MA who have been unknowingly paying for electricity for 2 years. The high school, Minnechaug Regional High School, was built in 2012 and the town tried to cheap out and cut corners wherever they could. Cutting so many corners has already hurt them before so this is just another example of why you don't build schools as cheaply as possible, especially in such a rich town where the average income is over $100K.
(I wasn't sure if this is the right sub so if there's somewhere else this post would better fit, please let me know.)
