What is that on the broccoli?

I was wondering the same thing. Interesting.

I love this subreddit. It so interesting to see how people eat and to ask why. It's like sociology, art, history, and food all combined.

Agreed! Not saying it’s not good, just that I’d never thought of the combination. But! Mustard is one of my favorite ingredients, I use it in lots of things. The acid and spice might be amazing on broccoli.

Acid is something I've been learning to incorporate and love in my cooking. I don't know what this tastes like. I don't know if it would be my thing. But maybe I will try a mustard vinaigrette or something?

Great idea. I use Dijon mustard in my vinaigrette, but in a pinch, a little yellow mustard would probably work

Interesting. I've never seen anyone do that before. Is that something people do where you are from, or just a personal preference?
