Are you shallow frying the schnitzel in a frying pan? Lower the heat to get a more even colour instead of burning the schnitzel where it touches the pan, and don't be shy with the amount of oil you use :)

I am! I’ll keep this in mind for the next time, since it was fun to use the oil for it this time!
