I was so sad when McDonald’s discontinued their Steak Egg and Cheese Bagel so I decided to take the matter into my own hands! This was super delicious but also super greasy.

Looks a thousand times better than that faux steak sandwich from McDonald's. It's back on the menu in a lot of places if you want it.

I actually bought the ribeye already shaved from the store. I didn’t shape them into a patty though. I just cooked them like the steak in a Philly cheesesteak.

I did! I mixed mayo, mustard, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and worcestershire for the sauce.

to be honest I've never seen anything from McDonald's that looked even a fraction as good as this, so 'copycat' may be a misnomer
