You should not be using a good stone mortar and pestle on a glass cook top

I really didn't think about the potential damage, however, I needed the height to scoop the contents out into a bowl, so I had the feet sitting in another plastic bowl.

Ah well that certainly helps. Stone scraping on glass is not the nicest sound/feeling even if nothing cracks.

I know those tops are tempered, but if you hit them just right they can shatter into a million little bouncing bits of glass.

That's a nice empty stone bowl and all.....but where's the final product? You can post multiple pics you know...
