That sounds like the best of both worlds!

Toppings are olives, ground beef, tomatoes, and chopped up pickled jalapeños. Crust is a pizza-corn tortilla hybrid. I used Brian Lagerstrom’s recipe on YouTube.

I won't knock it until I try it - definitely looks interesting. Thank you for sharing, will give it a go!

Your crust sounds interesting, how was it?

Nicely done. Crust and browning look perfect.

I worked at a place that had a taco pizza and they would put fresh cut lettuce on top after it was cooked. I was skeptical until I tried it but it worked surprisingly well. It tasted like a crunch wrap supreme

Guy. This pizza looks good. If it ain't your thing, I understand, but taco pizza is excellent and this one is well executed. No need to be a douche about it. Even if you think olives are an absurd choice.

Did you pre-cook ground beef ?

turtlebear787 t1_iydbrv7 wrote

Looks good but why the olives? Never heard of olives in a taco

The recipe I used was like a mashup of a supreme pizza & a taco. I think he was modeling it after a tombstone frozen taco pizza he used to eat as a kid. I like olives so I didn’t really question it tbh. It was delicious though, so no harm no foul

Needs big dollops of sour cream, salsa and guacamole!

You don't know what a taco is, jfc.

Now all ya have to do is add shredded lettuce to the top, and viola taco pizza

So by this logic everything I throw ground beef on is a taco?

Thanks! Yeah didn’t see that coming tbh. It’s a mashup of a supreme pizza and an American taco. I never claimed it to be authentic but boy are people pressed

asianfood200 t1_iyet95a wrote

It looks delicious, could anyone tell me the recipes? I would like to try it at home.

Accountforstuffineed t1_iyevxf4 wrote

No, but if you toss in taco seasoned ground beef, diced tomatoes, cheddar cheese, black olives, scallions, lettuce, and sour cream, then you could call it a taco inspired whatever. You don't seem very fun to be around.
