Looks beautiful. As an English person who hasn't yet tried the gravy, what ingredients goes into it, please? Very different gravy over here

It’s like a peppery, sausagey bechamel. Sometimes called ‘Sawmill Gravy’ if you’re Googling recipes. And the biscuits, of course, are not cookies.

Brown 1 pound of breakfast sausage. Once cooked, add 1/4 cup of flour. Stir to coat. Then add 2 1/4 cups of whole milk, about a half cup at a time, stirring until thickened. Add some pepper, if needed. 👍
That’s my method. Wife and 18 month old child love it.

Anything made from animal drippings/fat could be considered a gravy. A Sunday gravy is getting its flavor from beef, pork and sometimes veal. In this case it's sausage.
