I've also heard about cutting them into wedges, frying them and then shaking some powdered sugar over them for some quick beignets. Haven't tried that but you just jogged that memory.

Cream cheese, frosting, color, and a splash of orange juice well mixed. Also took the easy way out there.

The secret? Saw a video and had to try it out. Buttermilk biscuits from a can. Pop holes and fry at 360 for about 2 minutes a side, and whip up some glaze. They are actually really convincing and easy.
