Maybe it’s just really hard to find steak, did you ever think of that?!? 🤣

Maybe it's a steak cut from a komodo dragon tail.

Yeah I remember my first time cooking some thick steaks on a new grill. Suckers probably could've walked back to be cooked more but damned if they weren't juicy as hell.

I still prefer medium rare but I discovered rare ain't bad at all.

Yellow corn tortillas will always be superior to the chewy flour tortillas. This looks delicious! Add some diced tomatoes and chihuahua cheese and I’m SOLD.

I prefer corn tortillas, however...if you lightly warm up a flour tortilla they're absolutely not chewy at all. That's how my parents always did it. Little bit of butter, stack 'em, warm them in an oven wrapped in foil. No loss of moisture, no chewiness.

Hard as hell to find corn tortillas where I live.

Yes they're so good. I guess you need wheat tortillas for burritos but I can live without burritos.

Smart not to call them tacos!

Are they not?

I legit have no clue what makes a taco a taco. I always just thought putting shit on a tortilla = taco

I'm Canadian so i'm allowed to be ignorant here.

I'm sure it tastes fine, steak looks great. But for me, I don't know if that's supposed to be a taco or a tostada and the salsa looks like a tostitos chunky salsa, which is the last thing you'd want near any delicious looking food. Just my opinion.

They’re fresh and soft corn tortillas! And the salsa is homemade with white vinegar, scotch bonnet pepper, tomato, garlic, salt honey and shallot

No hard feelings, guy. like I said, it's just my opinion, which doesn't mean anything. It's just an opinion, not a fact.

Cast iron prepared top sirloin, onion, cilantro and homemade guac (avo, lime, salt, pepper, garlic powder) served with your preferred salsa or hot sauce.

As simple as it gets. And clean.

Why are we calling it rare though?

Most of it looks true medium and it all looks delicious

Arnand0 t1_je8cpd9 wrote

I agree, it looks very delicious. I'd definitely eat it, but I'd still say out loud that it's not rare, if presented as such.

You’re right (from what I can tell from the pictures).
