I'm having a total tip-of-your-tongue moment. As in, I'm 100% sure I've had such cookies before, but I have zero idea where and when that could have been...

A local bakery sells the exact same treat here where I live. Really tasty.

I’ve seen them as well but can’t remember where either. I wanna say a food travellers vlog like food ranger or something like that.

My wife and I made these a few days ago but we used walnuts. Her Ukrainian mom taught us how to make these so I have a feeling these are of slav origin. They are so dang good especially if you split one into two halves and eat each half on its own .... so damn good!

Looks like the mold from CoCoHoDo here in Sunnyvale. Those things are really good

In Ukraine! I don’t remember what they are called, but you know they are addictive if your willing to drop everything during a firefight to run into a store and grab some.
They are amazing

I would have been terrified the cookies would all disappear into my mouth within a few minutes because they’re the perfect bite-size that my stomach never registers as “full” no matter how many I eat.

I actually got ripped off because I bought those last week. There were no price listing but they were 2 zl for one and I bought 10, I paid 20 zl for 10 of those... They were tasty tho but never buying them again unless they will reduce the price. But I think no price listing for those was no coincidence.

Thank you; that makes sense (lived in Latvia for a year, and that's probably where/how I came across them). Also, the description that name finds, of a dulce de leche filling, fits perfectly for my (vague) memory!
