So first, I absolutely love that it just says hemorrhoids.

Your butt’s got a lot of veins and nerves in it just like everything else. But when it’s subjected to a lot of pressure ( sitting on the toilet with the added pregnancy weight, straining really hard during a difficult bowel movement, or else sitting for too long ) they become irritated and inflamed.

Will be itchy and can be painful and bleed. Must see a doctor for prescribed medication.

A hemorrhoid is an irritated and vein in your butt. If you put too much pressure on on your butt, like straining too hard while pooping, sitting too long, or have added pregnancy weight, it can bother the vein and a hemorrhoid happens. The vein swells and becomes itchy and can be painful or bleed.

Isn’t it like pooping out a few inches of your intestines?

Hemorrhoids are nothing to be shamed of! Many women get them from being pregnant. Some go away, some stay. Some stay the same for years and some get worse over time. I got mine checke this year and surgery would be possible, even without staying over night in the hospital. But(t - hehe) the procedure is quite painful, better said the healing process. It really also depends on how it looks at the last part of colon inside, after the Anus. The situation can differ also from how the anus is working properly. Please see a specialist for your personal diagnosis. Doctors that work in that field see that everyday, they won't shame you for anything.

Also I'd recommend to get a mobile bidet. You can fill up a little bottle with water (warm, at best) and clean your private area. The special outlet will splash that water on the dirty parts and makes it easier to clean. It will not only save you a lot of toilet paper but also the paint that comes when you have to wipe often to be clean. No more bloody spots or feeling of being clean 100%.

If you have lady parts you can use that very well for that area :) especially on periods or post partum days.

They are capillaries (like small veins) which are cushions that help with controlling your poo.

They can become swollen, which is a disease, also called Hemorrhoids after the structures in your anus.

The swollen hemorrhoids can be either insane or outside of your butthole.

When they are internal, you can get bright red blood in your poo, but no pain.

When they are external pain and swelling is noticeable around your butthole. This can make sitting down uncomfortable to painful. External ones don't usually bleed, but can. When they heal, they can leave behind skin tags.

Constipation, sitting on the toilet too long, and diarrhoea are common causes. Also pressure in the abdomen causes them, so they are very common in pregnant women.

Normally no treatment is needed and they will clear up in a few days. Drinking plenty of water and eating plenty of fibre will be useful. In extreme cases, medications and even surgery may be necessary to resolve them.
