Every time I travel to Germany, or any other European country for that matter, I am shocked at how inexpensive it is. In Germany, it's about 1/3 of what we pay in Canada.

Still far too much, considering for 15-20 bucks you should be able to get unlimited data like in other countries.

Here in Norway the two major telcom companies have their starting plans at 269 NOK (~$30) which are for 2 and 3 GBs of data.

An unlimited plan with full speeds costs 699 NOK (~$75) from both companies.

It's not even truly unlimited either. Both will limit you to 3 mbps after 100 GB.

Well it’s unlimited in that you can use unlimited data past 100GB at no extra cost, but yeah the speed throttling is very annoying. I believe the US has it similar though and most of their ‘unlimited’ plans throttle you after 25-50GB.

The cheapest offer I can find is 15,57€ a month for unlimited data, but its only 2mbit.
