so fractals don't just show up in nature! Fractals were created In Order to better capture nature! tbs, the traditional mathematics was proving insufficient for the first geographic maps on digital displays - that are zoomable (like your Google maps today) so they had to come up with fractal mathematics for that..🤷‍♀️

Ah I don't think that's true, Mandelbrot created the first one experimenting with recursion whole working at IBM. It proved very useful in mapping complex objects that seemed like they had no mathematical basis later?
