That wouldn’t be a fair comparison, then, since they would have different career lengths.
Apparently, it is from August 2019 through October 2021.

Makes sense considering Ludwig doesn't even stream on Twitch anymore.

I heard about a critical role...

It makes me feel a little bit less old that I know Critical Role. But I do not know a single other person on the chart.

Matt Mercer voices McCree/Cassidy in Overwatch which is the game that both xQc and TimTheTatman really started their Twitch careers with.

I watched the Legend of Vox Machina on amazon prime and I liked it. I do kind of feel like I want to watch or listen to the rest of their stuff but it feels like a big time commitment.

Don't think of it as a task, just endless, high-tier content! No rush to finish it. It's a great evening of entertainment. Or whenever. And it's all free on YouTube. 🔥
Maguncia t1_iuqfi1a wrote
Wait, it's like a TV show, not really a game?

Critical Role is a four-hour long show where a bunch of nerdy-ass voice actors get together once a week and sit around a table and play Dungeons & Dragons.

Methodology: This graph represents the highest paid twitch streamers from August 2019 to October 2021. This type of revenue data is rarely if ever available to the public but thanks to a Twitch data leak that showed 10,000 of the top earners and what they made we now have the data for all to see.
-
Many of the top creators have hinted at the accuracy and even ran with the leaked numbers to make memes. What's interesting about this graph is that a couple streamers haven't made content in over 1 year or longer.
-
Fun Fact: Altoar has 349 Twitch followers (the lowest by FAR of anyone on this list) but he's the creator of Sound Alerts for Twitch which works like royalties and rakes in the bucks to this day.

Nice visual, but you have screwed up by not mentioning the timeframe of the $ amounts. Without that information, the entire graph becomes useless.

So you are comparing income from streaming on twitch to income from software development for streaming tools? That doesn't make sense at all

Isn't xqc the one who was kicked off his OWL team for being super racist?
HammerTh_1701 t1_iuoakyn wrote
- Homophobic. It was dumb, unnecessary and offensive but not nearly as bad as people treated it. It really was just an angry young adult rambling on stream.
- OWL was super uptight trying to be as "professional" as possible back then. These days, it's much more relaxed. A lot of casters will say "nice" if the number 69 appears on screen and meme on production issues while the players get small monetary fines if they swear on broadcast. One of the main memes of OWL is "sex big dick" having been written in match chat.

critical role streams dungeons and dragons, id assume the rest of them stream video games perhaps?
SkippyNBS t1_iunjozh wrote
As others have said, Critical Role is a DnD stream, the others are gamers who also do a lot of reaction and variety content.
Altaor and Auronplay are the only two I don’t recognize, but there’s another comment here that addresses altoar

I gotta give it to you, the amount of delusion is quite insane. No sexual appeal streamer is anywhere close to the top streamer seats since the existence of twitch and if one has come in a range, they didn't stay there long. This is a top 10, not top 100 or 1000. The "problem" is mostly made up by people like you.
