I've lived about 10 years each in Texas and Iowa, and one of the things I miss most about Iowa was the fall weather and colors. Not certain why Iowa is lacking color in this map.

Amen, friend. We are not nearly as bad as everyone thinks we are. I have photo evidence that our horizon beats the hell out of a lot of other places.

Iowa does have color. There's a distinct yellow-orange tint covering 2/3rds of that state.
