Because there are places where only women face physical violence when they attempt to vote? Cmon dude I'm all for equal treatment but don't pretend you don't know that there are places in the world where women don't have nearly equal rights.

Thanks, that's what I wanted to know. Contrary to Reddit tradition, my questions were actually honest.
There's still issues with the map, like the Vatican/Italy thing, and it would be nice to know how far this map reaches into the past, but I understand it much better now.
