Although the value is in 2022 usd, so increased value caused by inflation is not a factor…

Crop price inflation does not equal CPI though.

Crop price inflation is pretty in line with the CPI, especially over time. So this is a reasonable estimate on the real change in value, but with some deviations at the individual points in time.
