According to the “half your age plus 7 years” rule, 48-year-old Leo’s girlfriend age limit should be a woman who’s 31. Knowing that Eden is 19, that’s 12 years under the “rule.”
How many people are comfortable in general dating someone 12 years younger than them, let alone 29 years younger?

The only major barrier to most older men dating women under 25 yrs old is that the younger women simply aren’t as attracted to them. I don’t think I know any single man of any age that wouldn’t choose to occasionally date women aged 18-25 if that was actually a real possibility. I have friends in their 70s that are totally interested in women less than half their age. I agree that this is a little creepy, but it’s all about finding your perfect partner!

dating extremely younger girls/women is definitely not about finding the perfect partner. its about getting validation from dating instead of going to therapy.

As a middle age guy who sure as hell would not want to date anyone that young all I can say is yikes.
Tho, you did say "single" men, and I'm not single, so maybe there's a selection bias in that the kind of men who want to pursue much younger women, are more likely to remain single themselves for extended periods of time?
