In answer to the question, yes.
Stackoverflow has a human problem: one where the questions asked are scrutinized and criticized for the mere hint of duplication, or being "too easy to google". Humans will always add a layer of subjectivity, bias, and getting off-topic.
ChatGPT is non-judgmental and doesn't mind the same question to be asked over and over. It won't hold a grudge, use sarcasm, or offer a snide comment. Though it will provide a tidal wave of information, it's answers may be viewed with suspicion or seen as non-authoritative in some areas, but for code, it should prove fairly accurate. Time will tell.

I wonder whether it will be used to generate answers to posted questions. Or whether someone already is. Really not looking forward to experiencing mansplaining as a service on stackoverflow.
