I mean this is just one painting. If their entire portfolio looked like this sure. But directors make scenes that are direct, obvious homages to other director' scenes. Musicians make specific songs or sections that are heavily influenced by another musician.
This is obviously a Bacon-inspired painting but it's not a Bacon painting. It still requires a lot of skill, and some level of creativity. It's got one or two things going on that you'd probably wouldn't see in a Francis Bacon painting.

The most well know of those paintings (the one you see in art history textbooks) is in the Des Moines Art Center in Iowa. The first time I walked in there I was shook.
