So it shows the r4 logo? Or do you mean the Nintendo logo?

Common problems you might have:

  1. SD card is formatted wrong. Make sure it's FAT not exFAT or NTFS. Probably just do FAT32.
  2. Make sure you've got the right files in the root of the SD card with exactly the right names. Capitalization matters. I mean this is true for all the firmware files. Put them exactly where the directions tell you to put them.
  3. Too many games in one folder. The r4i gold I have loads the whole folder in one go. I needed to split the games into many subfolders so that it wasn't trying to load thousands of games because that causes the DS to just run out of memory trying to load the file browser menu. I went with folders like "Aa-Be", "Bi-Fa", etc. Just the first two letters of the first and last game in the folder. I don't remember how many files I did per folder. Maybe like 100?

I formatted my sd card for fat, it didn't work, but when I tried to do fat 32, it couldn't format it strangely, but I'll take what you said into consideration.

I added 2 games at first to try but it didn't work

Thanks, I'll take what you said into consideration.
