So I bought a PS5 disc from Kijiji and already kinda regret my decision. Firstly, I went to pick it up and didn’t really check it all that well. They said all was good, i opened the box and shifted through the items. Now, the first issue: the front USB port is damaged, it clearly was messed with and has scratches around it. When I told the seller of this, they said that is not their PS5… Next they sold me a ps4 controller which doesn’t even charge

Anyway, to my actual question. Seems like the back two ports work. The PS5 controller has 3 full bars. When I try to charge it either via a USB C cable or via charging dock, the controller does not light up. Is this because the battery on the controller is full or is the controller broken as well. There are no physical damages on the controller or the dock provided so im not sure.

No light should occur on the controller if it is fully charged dw, at least your controller isn't damaged. Next time I would thoroughly check an item before buying though

You should ask for a refund and if they deny then take it to court I dunno. Just a suggestion.

I feel like an idiot tbh. It was a couple in their mid to late 50s. Said their son left for hockey and doesn’t use it. We looked at it and they said if anything wrong with it then return it. Now they saying their ps5 didn’t have that damaged port and it wasn’t scratched… idk if i have the patience to fight with them

Unless it was advertised as being in a certain condition, stuff like that it's pretty much accepted stuff is sold as-is

You say it's scratched but also say the back ports are functional. Is the front port not working? What do you mean by scratch?
