So I don't think the regular ps4 runs noticeably better than a one s. They are both comparable l, while the ps4 pro and Xbox one x are the better performing versions. I think the one s may actually be better at some things, like it can play native 4k videos while the ps4 upscale them.

Anyways, depending on where you live I'd look into Xbox all access; basically you get the console immediately and than pay monthly for 2 years (I think USD it's between 25-35 depending on console) and have gamepass ultimate for the duration. Plus, you end up saving a bit overall, and it gets you a current/next Gen console rather than last Gen.
